Exclusive Member Opportunity: Advance Your MIS Skills with ACPPS Continue Learning. Continue Growing. Continue Leading. As a valued ACPPS member, you have exclusive access to one of our most anticipated educational events of the year—our immersive 2-Day Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) Cadaver Lab. This member-focused experience is designed to help you strengthen your surgical skills, stay current with the latest minimally invasive techniques, and collaborate with fellow podiatric surgeons who are committed to advancing the profession. Whether you're looking to begin incorporating MIS into your practice or refine techniques you've already adopted, this course provides practical education that you can immediately apply in the operating room. Questions? Call us at 224-398-5746—we're happy to help. Learn from Experienced MIS Surgeons Our faculty includes accomplished podiatric surgeons who have successfully integrated minimally invasive procedures into thriving practices. Gain valuable insight into: - Surgical decision-making - Case selection - Instrumentation and workflow - Tips to avoid common complications - Pearls developed through years of clinical experience This is your opportunity to learn directly from surgeons who perform these procedures every day. Hands-On Cadaver Training Experience guided, hands-on cadaver training designed to build both confidence and competence. Working alongside expert faculty, you'll practice minimally invasive procedures in a supportive learning environment while receiving individualized instruction throughout the lab. The low faculty-to-attendee ratio ensures you'll have ample opportunity to ask questions, refine techniques, and receive real-time feedback. Expand Your Surgical Expertise Throughout this two-day program, you'll gain a comprehensive understanding of evaluating and treating common forefoot deformities using minimally invasive approaches. Topics include: - Bunions - Tailor's Bunions - Hammer Toes - Exostectomies - Metatarsal Deformities - Patient selection - Radiographic evaluation - Surgical planning - Post-operative protocols By the end of the course, you'll leave with practical techniques and greater confidence to incorporate MIS into your practice. Learning Objectives Participants will be able to: ✔ Evaluate normal and pathological foot deformities through comprehensive clinical examination and radiographic assessment. ✔ Develop individualized operative and non-operative treatment plans. ✔ Perform minimally invasive surgical techniques for a variety of forefoot deformities. ✔ Improve surgical efficiency while enhancing patient outcomes through modern MIS principles. ✔ Apply evidence-based techniques that can be implemented immediately in practice. Connect with Your ACPPS Community One of the greatest advantages of ACPPS membership is the opportunity to learn alongside colleagues who share your commitment to advancing podiatric surgery. Reconnect with fellow members, exchange ideas, discuss challenging cases, and build professional relationships that extend beyond the classroom. These conversations often become just as valuable as the educational sessions themselves. Your Membership in Action Your ACPPS membership is more than a credential—it's an investment in your continued professional growth. This cadaver lab reflects our commitment to providing members with: - High-quality continuing education - Practical, hands-on surgical training - Access to experienced faculty - Meaningful professional networking - Resources that help you grow your practice and improve patient care - Earn 16 CME Credits Participants will receive 16 Continuing Medical Education (CME) Credits while completing one of the most comprehensive hands-on MIS educational experiences available.
